Innovation Specialist – Adjacencies

About the role

The Innovation Specialist – Adjacencies will lead the creation and validation of consumer‑insight driven innovation solutions across the zone, aiming to generate profitable top‑line growth. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate market opportunities into successful product concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify innovation ideas and opportunities using the front‑end innovation process.
• Develop and maintain a balanced short‑ to long‑term innovation pipeline for the zone’s sub‑categories and brands.
• Build, expand and refine liquid and pack innovations that meet financial objectives.
• Plan and deliver regional and local innovation projects through SMART gate stages up to launch, ensuring consumer desirability, technical feasibility and financial viability.
• Create differentiated brand positioning, purpose, core creative ideas and marketing mix.
• Develop business cases at SKU level, including P&L analysis, to assess concept viability.
• Influence stakeholders across the zone and maintain collaborative cross‑functional relationships.

Required profile

• Three‑year related degree (STEM preferred) with a postgraduate degree in business/marketing preferred.
• 2‑5 years experience in brand management, consumer insights or marketing strategy consulting, preferably in consumer goods.
• Strong project management track record and ability to deliver projects across multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated leadership at a mid‑level and experience launching innovation initiatives.
• Problem‑solving capability and familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Understanding of financial business cases and P&L at the SKU level.
