Information Technology Security Manager

About the role

The Information Technology Security Manager will lead CCI Global’s information security programme at its Umhlanga site. This full‑time, on‑site position is responsible for protecting the company’s applications, infrastructure and data across a multi‑site BPO environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain security policies, standards and procedures aligned with ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Monitor security tools and SIEM platforms, assess vulnerabilities and coordinate incident response.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and client requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to secure networks, cloud environments, operating systems and applications.
• Lead security awareness initiatives and training for employees.
• Manage security projects, work with external vendors and auditors, and report security posture to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field; advanced certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
• Proven experience in a security leadership or management role, preferably within a large, multi‑site or BPO organisation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non‑technical teams.
