Information Technology Recruiter – Talent Acquisition Partner

About the role

GVW Group is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Partner to lead full‑lifecycle recruitment for its South African and US operations. You will source, screen and hire candidates for technical, industrial and leadership positions, ensuring an excellent candidate experience from first contact to offer.

Key responsibilities

• Run end‑to‑end recruitment across multiple business units, including manufacturing, engineering, technology and senior leadership.
• Proactively source candidates using direct‑search techniques; do not wait for applications.
• Partner closely with hiring managers, ask sharp questions and challenge briefs to define “great” talent.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines and long‑term relationships with passive candidates.
• Keep the recruitment process fast, organised and transparent, providing honest feedback throughout.

Required profile

• Proven recruitment experience with a strong track record in South African and US markets.
• Experience placing candidates in technical and industrial roles; executive/leadership search is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in direct sourcing and headhunting using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Entrepreneurial, hands‑on attitude – willing to tackle any task that helps secure the right hire.
• Willingness to work later‑afternoon/evening hours to support US hiring needs.
