Information Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior cybersecurity professional to protect the technology that underpins patient care. In this role you will ensure that clinical, laboratory and support systems remain secure, available and compliant, directly contributing to patient safety and trust.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage enterprise security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, endpoint protection and secure access solutions.
• Conduct regular security assessments and infrastructure audits to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Develop, maintain and improve incident response plans, playbooks and escalation procedures; lead investigations and root‑cause analysis of security incidents.
• Participate in threat‑hunting activities and proactive security investigations.
• Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, including Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, MFA, Conditional Access, SSO and Privileged Access Management.
• Perform regular access reviews to ensure appropriate user permissions.
