Inbound Reservations Consultant (Junior/Intermediate)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented, service‑driven Inbound Reservations Consultant to join our Cape Town team. You will manage FIT and group bookings from enquiry through to invoicing, ensuring seamless travel experiences for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Handle FIT and group bookings from initial enquiry to final documentation and invoicing.
• Coordinate with suppliers such as accommodation, transport, guides, meet‑and‑greet services and activities.
• Load bookings accurately and timely into the reservations system.
• Prepare and issue operational documents including rooming lists, vouchers, itineraries and service confirmations.
• Monitor bookings for accuracy, completeness and correct scheduling of services.
• Liaise with guides and suppliers to ensure smooth on‑ground delivery.
• Process amendments, reconfirmations and address pre‑ and post‑travel queries.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, deadlines and quality standards.
• Provide support to broader operations as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in inbound travel, reservations or a similar role.
• Knowledge of destinations, services and logistics in South and Southern Africa.
• Grade 12 qualification; a qualification in Tourism is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, solutions‑driven mindset with a passion for outstanding customer experiences.
