About the role
The Inbound & Outbound Pallet Controller ensures smooth pallet flow within a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) or manufacturing environment. Based in Johannesburg, the role supports both receiving and shipping operations, maintaining accurate pallet records and facilitating communication between suppliers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound pallet movements to ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Manage outbound pallet dispatches, aligning with delivery schedules.
- Track pallet inventory, verify counts, and maintain accuracy in the system.
- Communicate pallet status and issues with suppliers and internal departments.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a similar logistics, warehouse, or freight role.
- Matriculation (high school) qualification.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Sage software proficiency.
