Immigration Consultant

About the role

Deloitte is hiring an Immigration Consultant in Midrand to help clients navigate complex immigration and employment matters. You will support the Engagement Manager in delivering high-quality services at client premises and across delegated engagements or projects, applying your knowledge of immigration and labour law and solving problems with sound judgement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage work across multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under time pressure.
• Apply immigration and labour law knowledge to create a seamless client experience.
• Support business development through research, data gathering and proposal development.
• Develop analytical models and use technology to strengthen client recommendations.

Required profile

• Relevant degree (preference for BCom (Law) or LLB).
• 5 years' experience in immigration practice.
• Preferred: postgraduate degree and 2 years' experience in a professional services role.

Required skills

• Knowledge of immigration and labour law, including relevant legislation and processes.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
