Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the full HR function for EcoSolutions Projects Management, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in Durban and works closely with leadership and operational teams to align HR practices with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and ensure compliance with South African labour legislation.
• Manage HR administration, accurate record‑keeping and reporting.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning to attract and retain talent in a manufacturing environment.
• Oversee performance management, employee relations, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Design and deliver training, learning and development programmes.
• Administer compensation and benefits processes.
• Provide guidance to managers on people management and support organisational culture and employee engagement.

Required profile

• Matric certificate and a diploma or degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Management, Labour Relations or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in HR, recruitment, employee relations or HR administration, preferably in manufacturing, engineering or technology‑focused organisations.
• Good knowledge of South African labour laws, employment contracts and workplace compliance.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
