Human Resources Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

About the role

Agritalent’s client, a leading agri‑multinational, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator on a maternity‑cover basis. The role provides comprehensive operational HR support across the organisation, ensuring smooth administration, recruitment, payroll and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment and onboarding of new staff
• Employee and industrial relations support
• Performance management processes
• General HR administration
• Payroll administration
• HR systems maintenance
• Fleet and vehicle administration
• Reporting and analytics
• Vendor and financial administration
• Compliance with labour legislation and company policies
• Monitoring employee KPIs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or BCom in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or a related field
• Valid South African driver’s licence
• 3–5 years of experience in a generalist HR environment
• Experience supporting multiple business units or sites
• Background in recruitment, payroll administration and employee relations
• Exposure to disciplinary hearings and CCMA processes
• Familiarity with HRIS systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors
• Payroll administration experience (PaySpace advantageous)
