Human Capital Coordinator

About the role

The Human Capital Coordinator provides efficient, compliant, and professional administrative support for human capital processes at a site or divisional level. Working closely with operational and frontline leadership, the coordinator helps maintain high standards of employee administration and engagement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Execute core HR processes such as onboarding, off‑boarding, transfers, and promotions.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with local labour legislation.
• Support payroll preparation, benefits administration, and HR reporting.
• Assist managers with employee inquiries, performance‑management documentation, and engagement initiatives.
• Update and audit data in the HR information system (HRIS) to guarantee data integrity.
• Prepare and distribute regular HR metrics and dashboards for leadership review.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR administration or a similar coordination role.
• Strong knowledge of South African employment regulations and HR best practices.
• Excellent organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to partner with managers at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and general Office suite competence.
• Data entry accuracy and reporting capabilities.
