HR Manager / HR Business Partner (Johannesburg)

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced HR Manager / HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR support to the Johannesburg office. The role blends advisory, operational and development functions, ensuring compliance, employee engagement and talent growth within a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for employees and General Managers on HR matters, providing guidance on policies, South African legislation and organisational effectiveness.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and employer branding initiatives, supporting managers throughout the selection process.
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary, grievance and performance processes while promoting a positive workplace culture.
• Manage annual performance appraisal cycles, succession planning and talent reviews, facilitating career development discussions.
• Identify learning needs and coordinate local and international training programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Business Partner.
• Strong knowledge of South African employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a multinational, multicultural corporate setting.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills.
