HR Manager – Healthcare Sector (Randburg)

About the role

The client, a well‑established healthcare centre in Randburg, is seeking an experienced and professionally registered HR Manager. This senior management role will lead the full HR function for a workforce of roughly 220 employees, providing strategic direction while staying involved in day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the complete HR function, including policy development, compliance and record‑keeping.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives, and support workforce and succession planning.
• Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary processes and represent the organisation in CCMA matters.
• Oversee performance management, identify training needs and coordinate development programmes.
• Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EEA, OHS, COIDA) and support B‑BBEE reporting.
• Administer HR reporting, analytics, injury‑on‑duty processes and provide accurate data for payroll.

Required profile

• Qualified and professionally registered HR Manager with senior‑level experience.
• Proven ability to provide strategic HR guidance to executive management.
• Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and employment equity requirements.
• Experience managing HR for a medium‑size organisation, preferably in a healthcare setting.
