HR & Learning & Development Generalist

About the role

Learning & Development and HR Generalist needed to own the day‑to‑day learning agenda while supporting the full employee life‑cycle for a financial services organisation based in Bryanston.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver the Learning & Development agenda.
• Provide HR generalist services including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and performance enablement.
• Develop business and sales capability programmes.
• Manage reporting, governance and BBBEE projects and drive continuous improvement.
• Design and implement leadership development pathways.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resources, People Management, Industrial Psychology or Learning & Development.
• At least 5 years of HR experience with substantial hands‑on Learning & Development responsibilities.
• Broad exposure to HR generalist functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management and engagement.
• Experience in a sales, financial services or contact‑centre environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of South African employment legislation and BBEEE development requirements.

Required skills

• Cornerstone LMS administration.
• Sage 300 People (or comparable HR information system).
