HR Administrator – Pongola

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Administrator to support the People Manager at a leading Safari Lodge in Pongola, KwaZulu‑Natal. The role involves handling payroll, employee relations and supporting wellbeing initiatives in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the People Manager in delivering the people strategy.
• Provide HR guidance to management and staff.
• Administer junior personnel records and payroll using SAGE 300.
• Coordinate training, development and onboarding processes.
• Support industrial relations and disciplinary matters.
• Capture data and produce HR reports.
• Organise staff welfare, health, wellness and sustainability projects.
• Manage employee housing, equipment and uniform issuance.

Required profile

• HR qualification preferred.
• Proven experience in human resources, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of labour law and disciplinary procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality and integrity.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Required skills

• SAGE 300 payroll system.
