About the role
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests. In this role you will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, handle enquiries and provide high‑quality customer service throughout the guest’s stay.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests, assist them and direct them courteously.
- Manage check‑in and check‑out procedures, process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to emails and reservation requests promptly.
- Record and file all correspondence accurately.
- Guarantee bookings, apply no‑show and late‑cancellation charges when appropriate.
- Review and fulfil special guest requests, ensuring expectations are exceeded.
- Resolve guest issues professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with all hotel departments to maintain service standards.
Required profile
- Experience in face‑to‑face and phone customer relations.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service abilities across multiple channels.
Required skills
- Familiarity with Opera software for hotel management.
