Hotel Porter – Hourly

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Hotel Porter to join our team at a luxury 4‑star property in Stellenbosch. The role involves welcoming guests, handling luggage and providing courteous assistance throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling.
• Transport luggage, parcels and equipment between guest rooms, reception and other hotel areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the porter’s station and public areas.
• Support other hotel departments during busy periods, including events and banquets.
• Ensure a professional appearance and uphold the hotel’s service standards at all times.

Required profile

• Matric qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum two years of experience in a driving or porter role, preferably in an up‑market luxury or 4‑star hotel.
• Hard‑working, team‑oriented and able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, service‑oriented personality.

Required skills

• Driving proficiency with a valid licence.
