Home Caregiver for Elderly Clients

About the role
This position involves providing in‑home support to elderly clients, ensuring their daily needs are met while respecting their independence and personal dignity. The caregiver will travel to each client’s residence and deliver assistance that mirrors the care a family member would provide.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene, including washing and dressing
- Support shopping, meal preparation, and nutrition needs
- Prompt clients with medication schedules
- Help maintain daily routines and personal organization
- Provide respite services to give families a break
- Encourage socialising, leisure activities, and community participation
- Assist clients in accessing local services and community resources
- Promote independence while ensuring safety and comfort
Required profile
- Respect for individual autonomy and promotion of independence
- Willingness to travel to clients’ homes and be punctual
- Ability to maintain client dignity and provide compassionate care
- Good communication skills with clients and their families
