History Teacher (Grades 8‑12)

About the role

Reddam House Helderfontein is seeking an enthusiastic History teacher for grades 8‑12. You will join a vibrant, international school community and deliver engaging, standards‑based history lessons in a supportive, outdoor‑friendly environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver dynamic History lessons for secondary students.
• Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages active learning.
• Maintain professional standards of punctuality, conduct and homework supervision.
• Assess student progress, set and mark examinations, and write report comments.
• Provide academic support during two weekly afternoon tutoring sessions.
• Participate in two afternoons of extracurricular activities.
• Produce high‑quality teaching resources and contribute to school events as required.
