Headhunter – Remote (South Africa) – Executive Search

About the role

Phillips Butterworth Limited is expanding its South African team to support executive search for clients in Australia and the United Kingdom. The role is 100% remote and focuses exclusively on proactive headhunting – identifying, contacting and qualifying senior candidates without waiting for applications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct targeted outreach on LinkedIn and via phone to source senior professionals in accounting, finance and legal sectors.
• Qualify candidates against client requirements and manage the full search lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and pipeline status.
• For Lead Headhunter: mentor junior team members, own a desk and drive divisional revenue.

Required profile

• Proven experience in executive search or agency recruitment.
• Background or strong knowledge of accounting, finance or legal markets.
• Comfortable with an early start (6:00 AM SAST) to align with Australian business hours.
• Excellent verbal communication in English and a self‑motivated, results‑driven attitude.
