Head of Supply Chain

About the role

The Head of Supply Chain will own the strategic design, optimisation and execution of an end‑to‑end supply chain in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. This senior leadership position blends strategic vision with hands‑on operational discipline to ensure the business remains cost‑competitive while expanding market reach.

Key responsibilities

• Transform current planning frameworks into a data‑driven Integrated Business Planning (IBP) model that aligns commercial demand, manufacturing capacity and financial targets.
• Establish robust data governance, scale logistics infrastructure and build a resilient, compliant operational spine.
• Lead the management of strategic suppliers, material requirements planning (MRP), production scheduling and demand forecasting using an enterprise ERP system.
• Oversee new product introductions, post‑approval variations and artwork transitions under regulatory oversight.
• Develop and monitor departmental budgets across multiple projects and funding sources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Life Sciences or Business (or equivalent qualification).
• 8‑10 years of senior supply chain or operational experience in a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical setting.
• At least 5 years in senior management, with proven experience in quality and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated success in IBP/S&OP implementation and ERP‑based planning execution.
