About the role
The Head of Organisation Effectiveness will lead the design and implementation of operating models, governance routines and performance frameworks across a network of hospitals and corporate functions. This senior role focuses on aligning structures, roles and decision‑making processes with strategic objectives while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Translate operating model designs into practical ways of working, governance routines, decision rights and accountability mechanisms.
- Reduce friction and duplication between corporate office and hospitals, streamlining decisions and escalations.
- Clarify leadership accountability, handovers, ownership and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Lead enterprise‑wide organisation design initiatives, ensuring structures, spans of control and reporting lines are strategically aligned.
- Deliver diagnostics, options analysis, recommendations and implementation plans for organisation design projects.
- Maintain up‑to‑date organograms, role profiles, job descriptions, RACI matrices and accountability frameworks.
- Embed performance management tools, guidance and routines; build manager capability in setting expectations and providing feedback.
- Drive change enablement for strategic initiatives, including adoption plans, stakeholder strategies and communication plans.
- Generate organisational insights through diagnostics, analytics and reporting to support evidence‑based decisions.
- Shape culture, engagement and ways of working by defining and reinforcing desired behaviours and leadership practices.
Required profile
- Proven experience in organisational design, effectiveness and change management, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership influence across multiple business units.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement governance, performance and accountability frameworks.
- Excellent analytical skills with experience producing diagnostics, analytics and actionable insights.
- Track record of building manager capability and driving cultural change.
