Head of Finance

About the role

The organization is a well‑established global non‑profit focused on international community development. It seeks a Head of Finance to lead its multinational finance function, shaping strategy, governance and operational excellence across several international hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day global finance operations, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations and payment approvals.
• Produce internal financial reports and forecasts to support executive decision‑making.
• Lead statutory and tax reporting, ensuring compliance and managing the group audit lifecycle.
• Manage the annual budgeting process and implement robust financial controls.
• Direct liquidity, treasury activities, currency trading and cash management across locations.
• Own and lead the global NetSuite ERP implementation and ongoing development.
• Set performance objectives and skills matrices for international finance teams.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting qualification with extensive senior financial management experience.
• Proven track record leading finance teams in multiple countries within a global organisation.
• Hands‑on experience in treasury, statutory reporting, financial control and operational finance.
• Direct experience with currency trading and cash management in a global setting.
• Background in charitable, non‑profit or international development sectors.
