Head of Ecommerce

About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven, entrepreneurial leader to build and grow our eCommerce division. The Head of Ecommerce will own the full strategy, platform rollout, warehouse integration, customer experience and commercial performance, guiding the business from launch through sustained growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the company’s eCommerce strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives and identifying growth opportunities across product categories and channels.
• Lead the end‑to‑end eCommerce project lifecycle, including platform selection, implementation, system integrations, testing, data migration and go‑live.
• Design and manage warehouse and fulfilment processes, ensuring stock accuracy, order processing efficiency and high service levels.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and profitability targets, reporting performance metrics to senior management.
• Oversee website performance, conversion rate optimisation, catalogue management and compliance with security and accessibility standards.
• Drive digital marketing initiatives such as SEO, paid search, social advertising, email and affiliate programmes to acquire and retain customers.
• Recruit, lead and develop a high‑performing eCommerce team, fostering a data‑driven, customer‑centric culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Business Management, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3‑5+ years of experience launching and scaling eCommerce platforms, with proven project‑management and operational expertise.
• Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional teams and experience managing warehouse, fulfilment and logistics operations.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset.
