About the role
The client, a leading organisation in Johannesburg, is urgently seeking an experienced Head of Digital to steer enterprise‑wide digital initiatives. This senior position reports to senior leadership and is responsible for establishing robust governance, risk, compliance and portfolio management frameworks.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise‑grade Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) frameworks for all digital projects.
- Lead Project/Program/Portfolio Management (P3M) across the organisation.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, standard operating procedures and compliance standards.
- Oversee SAP healthcare ecosystem rollout, including FI/CO, MM, IS‑H and HCM modules.
- Drive greenfield Digital Value Office (DVO) creation and manage enterprise‑scale portfolio financial accountability, delivering measurable cost savings.
Required profile
- Matriculation plus a university degree.
- Minimum 15 years of enterprise IT governance and portfolio management experience.
- Proven experience in healthcare delivery and SAP ecosystem governance.
Required skills
- PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Knowledge of COBIT or ISO 27001 standards.
- Hands‑on expertise with SAP FI/CO, MM, IS‑H and HCM modules.
