Head of Branch Distribution Support

About the role

The Head of Branch Distribution Support will drive the formulation and implementation of OM Bank’s sales and distribution best practices. Reporting to the Executive Head of Retail Sales, this senior leader will ensure the cost‑to‑sell is optimised across all retail channels while aligning with the bank’s overall strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the distribution support strategy, integrating it with the broader corporate and retail sales strategy.
• Prepare and secure approval for annual business plans, including revenue targets, KPI definitions, expense and headcount budgets, and business cases for major projects.
• Analyse the sales value chain to drive cost‑to‑sell optimisation, manage reporting, compliance and support growth across product lines and channels.
• Coordinate operational support for all retail channels, acting as the voice of the sales teams to operational functions.
• Communicate the function’s strategy, motivate teams and ensure alignment with the organisation’s mission, vision and values.
• Design, develop and deliver training programmes for senior executives and product education for the sales force.
• Provide specialist information and business advice to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in leading sales distribution or retail banking strategy.
• Proven ability to develop and implement functional strategies and business plans.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Experience in budgeting, cost management and performance reporting.
• Track record of building and delivering training programmes for senior staff.
