Guillotine and Sheeter Operator

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Guillotine and Sheeter Operator to join our manufacturing/print‑finishing team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting and finishing a variety of paper and printed materials, ensuring high precision and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Polar Microcut guillotine cutting machines to trim paper and printed sheets.
• Run and assist with sheeting machine operations for various grades of material.
• Set up machines, perform basic mechanical and electrical maintenance, and adjust settings for optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate cutting tolerances and quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a guillotine operator.
• Experience operating sheeting machines in a print‑finishing environment.
• Knowledge of paper/print cutting processes.
• Basic mechanical and electrical understanding (advantageous).
• Own reliable transport to the Durban site.
