Guest Relations & Admin Officer

About the role

Rest Easy is looking for a proactive Guest Relations & Admin Officer to manage self‑catering properties on the Atlantic Seaboard and Cape Town CBD. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling reservations, arrivals and departures while supporting daily office operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage guest reservations, inquiries, reviews and special requests with professionalism.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and operations teams to ensure smooth stays.
• Maintain and update the reservations system for accuracy.
• Order supplies and keep both office and properties well‑stocked.
• Request and manage vendor quotes for property and office needs.
• Maintain a clean, organised office environment.
• Provide general administrative support to keep operations running efficiently.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification (hospitality or administrative qualification advantageous).
• Previous experience in reservations, administration or related hospitality role.
• Excellent organisational, communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time in a busy environment.
• Residence within 15 km of Sea Point/Atlantic Seaboard.

Required skills

• Experience with property/reservation platforms such as Airbnb.
• Familiarity with BOOM reservation system.
