Group Reservations Agent

About the role

The Group Reservations Agent is responsible for handling all group booking enquiries and reservations for Accor hotels. You will work closely with the Sales and other hotel departments to ensure smooth group check‑ins and maximise room revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sales and administration of group bookings of 7 rooms or more that do not require catering (except breakfast).
• Process enquiries via fax, email or phone and provide confirmations within 24 hours.
• Prepare group information sheets, brief relevant teams, and coordinate pre‑arrival logistics.
• Maintain hotel inventory for group reservations and monitor potential revenue loss.
• Produce reports such as Group Wash, Business Turndown, and 3‑month forecasts for the Group Services Manager.
• Handle group payments, cancellations, rooming lists, and enforce terms and conditions.
• Maintain an accurate filing system for all group correspondence and reservations.
• Enter reservation data promptly for the next three months and resolve guest complaints professionally.

Required profile

• Experience in hotel group reservations or similar hospitality booking roles.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple group files simultaneously.
