Group Financial Controller

About the role

The organization seeks a high‑performing, commercially savvy Group Financial Controller to own financial reporting, forecasting, contract performance, cash‑flow optimisation and team leadership across all group entities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full finance operation for all group entities.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts, budgets and annual plans.
• Deliver detailed P&L and balance‑sheet analysis with clear business commentary.
• Support strong cash‑flow and working‑capital performance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and governance requirements.
• Support internal, external and client audits.
• Lead and develop the accounting team.
• Manage unbilled revenue, accruals, deferred income and recoveries.

Required profile

• 5+ years’ experience in online businesses, performance marketing, fintech, e‑commerce, SaaS or international companies.
• Proven experience preparing financial data for investors, buyers, audits or due diligence.
• Experience with multi‑currency operations, cross‑border payments and payment‑processor revenue reconciliation.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and a CA (SA) or B.Com Accounting qualification.
