Group Financial Controller

About the role

Auxo Talent is seeking a commercially‑minded Group Financial Controller to join its expanding international team. Based in Durban on a hybrid schedule, you will partner directly with the CFO and senior leadership to shape financial strategy and support rapid growth across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Group month‑end and year‑end close, producing consolidated management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Manage multi‑entity, multi‑currency consolidations and ensure robust financial controls and governance.
• Oversee external audits, statutory compliance, VAT, corporation tax and other international regulatory requirements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, long‑term financial planning and provide commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
• Assist with acquisitions, integrations and future business expansion initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or SAICA CA(SA) qualification.
• Significant post‑qualified experience in a Group Financial Controller or senior reporting role.
• Proven track record of consolidations across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
• Experience in an international or multinational environment, preferably covering Europe, the Middle East or APAC.
• Strong collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Extensive experience with ERP systems.
