About the role
Rand Water is seeking a dynamic, technically competent Group Finance Tax Compliance Specialist to join its Finance Division. The role focuses on managing tax administration, ensuring compliance with statutory, legislative and regulatory frameworks, and supporting the development of robust taxation policies.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee tax administration, monitoring and reporting in line with statutory and company requirements.
- Evaluate and assess internal controls and risk impact within the finance environment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement stringent financial controls.
- Develop and maintain sound taxation policies and procedures to mitigate risk exposures.
- Evaluate, implement and manage financial business processes related to tax compliance.
Required profile
- Strong technical competence in finance and tax compliance.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Analytical mindset for assessing internal controls and risk.
- Experience in developing taxation policies and procedures.
