About the role
SBV Services is offering a 12‑month Cash Processor contract combined with a National Certificate in Banking learnership at its Bloemfontein centre. The role involves receiving, sorting, counting and reconciling bank deposits and coins following standard procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Receive deposits and record them on SBV's systems.
- Prepare and sort bank notes for counting.
- Check rejected notes for counterfeit or damage.
- Process coin deposits and payroll/change orders.
- Balance and reconcile cash at the end of each day.
- Report shortages, surpluses and equipment faults to the Team Controller.
Required profile
- Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
- Aged 18 to 29 and South African citizen.
- Must not have previously completed the National Certificate: Banking.
- Accuracy and attention to detail when handling cash.
