Group Executive – Enterprise Security & Compliance Enforcement

About the role

Our client in Kempton Park is seeking a Group Executive to lead enterprise security and compliance enforcement across the organisation. Reporting to the CEO, the role shapes security strategy, ensures regulatory compliance and protects critical assets.

Key responsibilities

• Translate organisational goals and statutory regulations into a clear security masterplan and oversee its implementation.
• Review and re‑align protocols, practices, systems and frameworks to match the company’s strategic intent.
• Direct the development and implementation of an enterprise security risk‑management strategy, including trend analysis and efficiency reviews.
• Develop and enforce a compliance framework for aviation and airport security, ensuring adherence to legislation and internal policies.
• Lead internal and external audits (e.g., ICAO, SACAA) and drive remedial action plans.
• Approve technical specifications, procure and manage security contractors for property, cargo, baggage screening, public safety and VIP protection.

Required profile

• A Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 8) is essential; a Master’s in law enforcement, security or intelligence is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in aviation/airport regulation (operational) and 6 years in security management, law enforcement, military or intelligence (management).
• At least 3 years’ experience in corporate legal advisory (management).
• Registration with PSIRA and membership of relevant national aviation security committees.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Code B motor vehicle licence.
• AVSEC accreditations.
