Graphic Designer – Event & Marketing Design

About the role

The Garden Venue is seeking a full‑time Graphic Designer to work on‑site in Cape Town. You will create visual assets that reinforce the venue’s premium brand across both print and digital channels, supporting events ranging from intimate weddings to large corporate functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and produce layouts for brochures, flyers, banners, pull‑up displays and other marketing collateral.
• Design digital graphics for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok) and online advertising such as Google Display and Meta ads.
• Create website visuals, landing‑page graphics, email newsletter artwork and simple motion graphics or GIFs.
• Support sales and events teams by designing proposals, presentations, venue floor plans, signage, menus, welcome boards and event stationery.
• Prepare files for professional printing, liaise with printers and ensure brand consistency across all assets.

Required profile

• Strong creative eye with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple design projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective collaboration with marketing and events teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in creating print and digital artwork.
• Experience with animated graphics, GIFs or simple motion graphics.
