About the role

This full‑time Graduate Unqualified Teacher position offers recent graduates the chance to gain hands‑on classroom experience in a high‑performing secondary school in Bromley. You will work across KS3 and KS4 in your subject area while preparing for formal teacher training.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons in your specialist subject.
• Support students’ academic progress and understanding.
• Lead small‑group interventions and targeted support sessions.
• Assist with lesson preparation, marking, and assessment.
• Develop classroom management and communication skills.
• Gain exposure to curriculum planning and broader school activities.

Required profile

• Graduating this year with a 2:1 degree or above in Art, Economics, Computer Science, English, Geography, Physics, Chemistry or Maths.
• Committed to a career in teaching and ready to start full‑time in September.
• Strong academic ability and excellent communication skills.
• Professional, reflective and eager to learn.
• Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
