Graduate Trainee Manager – Engineering & Actuarial

About the role

Cartrack is seeking ambitious graduates with backgrounds in Engineering, Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics or Statistics to join an accelerated graduate programme. Over 6 to 18 months, you will rotate across the South African business, gaining hands‑on experience in both sales and operations while being prepared for future leadership positions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in continuous training and development activities.
• Rotate through multiple functions, including sales, operations, and project management.
• Support day‑to‑day business activities and contribute to strategic initiatives.
• Analyse data and provide innovative solutions to business challenges.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand and improve Cartrack’s SaaS platform.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics or Statistics with outstanding academic performance.
• Distinction in Mathematics at Grade 12 (non‑negotiable).
• Newly qualified graduate with 0‑3 years of work experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, hands‑on attitude and strong analytical problem‑solving abilities.
