About the role
FirstRand is looking for a Graduate Trainee to join its Banking & Financial Services division. The role serves as a developmental pipeline, preparing graduates for key positions across business units while delivering effective solutions to customers.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive and innovative solutions.
- Execute role responsibilities efficiently with careful planning, reporting, and timely updates.
- Participate in business innovation processes and contribute to new initiatives.
- Engage in knowledge‑sharing projects to maximise skills and support career exploration.
- Manage and complete graduate development assignments and training to enhance competencies.
Required profile
- Final‑year university student in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Maths, Statistics, Engineering, Marketing, HR, Industrial Psychology, Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields.
- South African citizenship.
- Commitment to the bank’s values and to delivering high‑quality customer service.
