About the role

Huis Martina, a collaborative health programme, is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality care for elderly residents. The role involves medication management, physical and medical support, and working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medication using CDU and blister packaging.
• Manage scheduled medication regimes and ensure accurate documentation.
• Deliver physical and medical care to older adults, monitoring their health status.
• Participate in shift work covering day, night, weekend and public holidays.
• Support team leadership and maintain strong interpersonal relationships.

Required profile

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Responsible, motivated and able to work collaboratively.
• Willingness to work flexible shift patterns.
• Administrative licence is an advantage.

Required skills

• Medication handling (CDU and blister packaging).
• Scheduled medication administration and control.
• Elderly care – physical and medical support.
