General Warehouse Worker – Distribution Centre

About the role

Our client, a leading warehouse and distribution company, is urgently looking for reliable General Workers to join a busy distribution centre in the Pinetown area. The role involves working in a cold‑room environment and supporting day‑to‑day warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, wrap and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Assist with receiving, checking and storing stock.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
• Support stock counts and stock‑control activities.
• Provide general assistance to warehouse and distribution operations as required.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution or cold‑room environment.
• Experience in a poultry setting is advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Good communication skills, reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, overtime and public holidays.
• Clear criminal record (background checks will be conducted).
