General Manager – Restaurant Opening

About the role

We are seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead the opening team of Le Parc by Tashas in Mouille Point, Cape Town. This role will shape the restaurant’s culture from day one, driving operational excellence and commercial success while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house, ensuring brand standards and service procedures are consistently applied.
• Oversee opening and closing routines, inventory control, maintenance and overall operational readiness.
• Drive commercial performance by monitoring financial results, identifying efficiency improvements and enhancing profitability.
• Recruit, develop and mentor a high‑performing team, fostering a culture of respect, accountability and continuous learning.
• Champion personalised guest experiences, handling feedback promptly and building relationships with regular guests and the local community.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior hospitality leadership, preferably as a General Manager or similar role.
• Strong track record of opening or relaunching a restaurant and delivering operational excellence.
• Ability to inspire and lead teams, create a positive workplace culture and develop future leaders.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
