General Manager – Agriculture Operations

About the role

A well‑established leader in agricultural manufacturing is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its operation in Bethlehem. This senior executive role combines commercial acumen with operational expertise to drive profitability and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall performance and profitability of the agricultural operation.
• Drive operational excellence across manufacturing, maintenance and supply chain functions.
• Develop and execute business and operational strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Manage budgets, financial performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Lead and develop high‑performing multidisciplinary teams.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Management or a related field (post‑graduate qualification advantageous).
• Minimum 10 years senior operational leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing a manufacturing operation with full P&L accountability.
• Strong commercial, financial and people‑leadership capabilities.
• Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and business growth.
