Administration Officer – Air Quality

About the role
The Administration Officer (Air Quality) supports the collection, analysis and reporting of air‑quality data, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and presented effectively to management and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Using air QUIS and other software to generate reports and graphics for management and stakeholders.
- Presenting data in predefined formats for comparative analysis, legal compliance and assessment.
- Assisting the data quality control officer with technical quality control of data.
- Setting up systems to compile current and historical data sets.
- Preparing reports for different target groups and establishing performance benchmarks.
- Facilitating data storage in correct databases and maintaining the information website.
Required profile
- Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Environmental Science or Environmental Management.
- Registered as a Candidate Natural Scientist with SACNASP.
- Valid motor vehicle driving licence.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience (3 years preferred).
- Computer literacy.
