About the role
Truworths is seeking a qualified Electrician with extensive handyman experience to join the facilities team at its Head Office in Cape Town. The role combines electrical maintenance with general handyperson duties, supporting the smooth operation of the workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine electrical inspections and repairs across the office premises.
- Carry out general maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, carpentry, and fixture installations.
- Respond promptly to ad‑hoc facilities requests and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Required profile
- Qualified electrician with a valid certification.
- Proven experience in a handyman or multi‑skilled artisan role.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Strong attention to safety and compliance standards.
