FX Modernisation Programme Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead the Business FX Modernisation programme. This is a 6‑month contract based in Johannesburg with hybrid working, responsible for delivering a coordinated roadmap across multiple workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated programme roadmap aligned to strategic objectives, covering platform modernisation, pricing, execution capability, regulatory readiness and client migration.
• Establish and operate the programme governance framework, including meeting cadence, decision and escalation paths, and produce weekly status reports and monthly executive dashboards.
• Maintain the programme RAID log with named owners, mitigations and review dates, and manage cross‑workstream and third‑party dependencies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional delivery teams across business, technology, compliance and operations, ensuring prioritisation and adherence to delivery standards.
• Maintain the stakeholder map and engagement plan, providing accurate and timely communication to workstream owners, executive sponsors and impacted teams.
• Identify and recommend improvements to delivery cycle time and programme efficiency, quantifying benefits where practicable.

• Provide programme management and coordination services for the Business FX Modernisation programme.
• Maintain the stakeholder map and engagement plan, ensuring clear communication of progress and actions.
• Maintain the programme RAID log with defined owners, mitigations and review dates.
