Funeral Cover Sales Agent

About the role

We are a well‑established financial services contact centre seeking motivated sales professionals to join our Sanlam funeral cover campaign. As a Funeral Cover Sales Agent you will engage prospective customers over the phone, understand their needs and recommend suitable funeral insurance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Sell funeral cover products to prospective customers via outbound calls.
• Identify customer needs and propose appropriate funeral cover solutions.
• Achieve and exceed daily and monthly sales targets.
• Accurately capture customer information and complete policy applications.
• Build strong relationships through professional service and follow‑up enquiries.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and comply with company standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months of call‑centre sales experience selling funeral cover or similar insurance products.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and objection‑handling skills.
• Ability to work in a target‑driven, fast‑paced environment.
• Computer literate and comfortable using CRM systems.

What we offer

• Permanent contract based in Bram Fischer Town, Johannesburg.
• Basic salary ranging from R3,000 to R6,000 per month, plus attractive performance‑based earnings.
