Full Stack Software Developer

About the role

Orion Labs is seeking a talented Full Stack Software Developer to join its fully remote, fast‑growing consulting team. You will work on enterprise‑scale projects, building modern web applications from the ground up for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Create responsive user interfaces with Tailwind CSS and Shadcn UI.
• Build robust RESTful APIs and back‑end services, implementing authentication and security best practices (OAuth, JWT, session management).
• Design and optimise relational database schemas and queries (PostgreSQL/Supabase).
• Integrate and manage headless CMS platforms, primarily Payload CMS and Directus.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code and participate in code reviews.
• Practice test‑driven development and implement automated testing (unit, integration, end‑to‑end).
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for deployments on AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, Railway, and Vercel.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers in an agile Scrum environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years professional full‑stack web development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern ES6+ features.
• Experience working in agile Scrum teams.
