Full Stack Developer (Node.js) – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Full Stack Developer to join our team on a six‑month contract. The role focuses on building and maintaining cloud‑native applications using modern Node.js and Azure technologies, working in a hybrid setting based in Johannesburg.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain full‑stack applications using Node.js.
• Build and support cloud‑native solutions within the Azure environment.
• Implement and manage containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Develop, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Deploy and monitor applications on Azure Kubernetes Service, using observability tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software.
• Participate in code reviews and apply best development practices.

Required profile

• Intermediate‑level software developer with solid full‑stack experience.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, containerisation and DevOps methodologies.
• Comfortable working in agile environments and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
• Passionate about delivering scalable, secure and high‑performing solutions.
