Full Stack C# Developer - Cape Town - 1 day on site

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack C# Developer to design, build and maintain web‑based applications. The position is primarily remote with one day per week on‑site for the first 3‑6 months, and occasional client visits.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance front‑end and back‑end components using C#.NET (4.8‑8), Web API, MVC and Razor.
• Write clean, maintainable code and unit tests; manage source control.
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Perform testing, deployment and monitoring of applications in dev, staging and production environments.
• Support system maintenance, logging, uptime and incident resolution.
• Collaborate in Agile teams, share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of professional software development experience.
• Microsoft certifications – Azure Fundamentals and Azure Developer (preferred).
• Ability to work independently with a reliable home office setup.

Required skills

• C# programming language.
• .NET Framework/Core (4.8‑8).
• Web API, MVC, Razor.
• Entity Framework.
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• HTML5, CSS, jQuery.
• SQL database development.
• Azure Fundamentals / Azure Developer knowledge.
