Frontline Recruiter – High‑Volume Hiring for Supply Chain & Commercial

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking a Frontline Recruiter to lead high‑volume hiring for frontline positions across Supply Chain, Commercial and Enabling functions in South Africa. You will partner with hiring managers and HR teams to ensure recruitment aligns with local labor laws, employment equity goals and the company’s transformation objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct recruitment planning meetings with hiring managers to define job requirements and timelines.
• Provide market insights, salary benchmarks and advise on Employment Equity targets.
• Develop sourcing strategies using local job boards, social media, community outreach and employee referrals.
• Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, from requisition to onboarding, ensuring compliance with the Basic Conditions of Employment Act and Labour Relations Act.
• Facilitate structured interviews, hiring panel debriefs and coordinate offer extensions with HR and Total Rewards.
• Track recruitment metrics such as time‑to‑hire, EE representation and candidate satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of South African labor legislation, Employment Equity Act and BBBEE compliance.
• Experience managing high‑volume recruitment for frontline roles.
• Ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and HR stakeholders.
• Proven track record of inclusive hiring and community‑based sourcing.
