Frontend Developer – UI/UX Focused Banking Tech

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Frontend Developer to join our fast‑paced banking technology team. You will work closely with UX/UI designers, product owners, architects and backend engineers to build modern, scalable, and user‑centric digital platforms for online banking and internal enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive front‑end applications using Angular, React, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Translate business requirements into reusable, high‑performing UI components and micro‑frontend architectures.
• Convert Figma or other design mock‑ups into production‑ready interfaces.
• Integrate front‑end code with REST APIs, micro‑services and backend systems.
• Modernise legacy banking applications and improve usability.
• Collaborate with backend developers, architects, QA and business stakeholders in Agile Scrum environments.
• Participate in technical design discussions, architecture decisions and code reviews.
• Ensure applications meet security, accessibility, performance and compliance standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments and troubleshooting for speed and scalability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of front‑end/UI development experience, preferably in enterprise‑scale Agile settings.
• Proven experience modernising legacy applications into modern frameworks.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, cross‑browser compatibility and accessibility.
• Experience working closely with UX/UI and product teams.
• Background in financial services or banking is preferred.
